Do you wear your shoes in your home or other people's homes? I don't wear shoes in my home but I prefer to keep them on in other peoples.

I do sometimes. Depends on if i'm about to take off.

Hell, sometimes I prefer to be barefoot when walking right outside my house.

I always take my shoes off at the door unless someone says I don't have to.

I do the opposite. Or sometimes I'll ask before going in. But I mostly like to keep my shoes on in other people's homes.

In my own home I take them off as soon as I come in.

Maybe it was because I refused to take off my shoes. Again, the foot odour problem. Her father would look at me and say, " eno enoa juang ". Which means, "this guy - this is not my kind of guy".

I take off my shoes in every home I go unless we're in a hurry. If I'm there to stay, I'm not gonna keep my shoes on.

Inside my house, no, usually not. Especially if the floor is freshly mopped and especially in our bedroom.

But as a guest, around here it's common courtesy to keep your shoes on and take them off only if you want to. As a host, I never let my guests take their shoes off. I mean, what if a guest has odor problems (other than not washing themselves, maybe a medical condition or something, or lousy shoes - even more during summer when you get yourself a rain-forest inside your socks), then that would create a really embarrassing situation.

I just don't get why people would walk around their homes in dirty shoes.

Shoes are often uncomfortable, which is another reason to take them off. It's not that difficult to keep your feet clean.

I always see it as courteous to keep your shoes on until you're invited to take them off by the host.

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.
